Still working on closing the first sale — harder than I anticipated… lots of following up.

But the pipeline is looking solid w/ 14 good contacts.

And still getting 2-3 leads/day from cold calling.

EOM goal is $600/MRR

It’s been 3 years since I’ve made a sales call…

Called 11 leads today:
- 1 hard no
- 1 soft no
- 2 VMs
- 3 call backs
- 2 need some nurturing but promising
- 2 likely sales ($375 MRR total)

It was a little scary to start calling, but I got into it by the end.

Another 2 leads today — finally had some time and made a follow up call. Didn’t close on the call but they were interested.

Bottom line is the model is working — I was able to get on the phone with a decision maker that was interested.

Two more leads today from my cold caller. Haven’t had a chance to follow up with any yet bc of work. Planning to start follow up on Thursday afternoon.

But I’ve got 8 hot leads.

Total spend so far has been $160.

I’ll break down costs tomorrow.

Hired a cold caller in the Philippines last week through @OnlinejobsdotPH

I had ~20 apps, 5 that passed screener questions, and four interviews.

He starts tomorrow… goal is 400+ calls/day and 2-3 interested leads for me to follow up with.

Trying to pay for MBA… here’s the breakdown:

Expenses:
* tuition = scholarship
* Cost of living = ~$4k/month (2 kids + wife)

Income:
* 3 y/o business = $750/month (entirely passive)

Bottom line: I’ve got 70 days to come up $3250 recurring revenue.
