When you start to #BuildInPublic, you'll hear lots of public comments and feedback.

They can be useful, but they can also be distracting.

Train up yourself to distinguish them.
A BAD COURSE

It was my first course, so I threw together all my know-how about #BuildinPublic.

But soon I understood:

🍀 People don't take a course to become the instructor

🍀 No two students are at the same stage

🍀 Shouldn't expect progression to be the same pace
The beginning of #BuildInPublic, like everything, is super hard.

Will you quit like most people, or will you stick around with this principle?
Want to experience it?

I'm running a #buildinpublic workshop next week.

If you want to walk away with a public mindset & a framework to tell stories that resonate 100% of the time, you can join it for free 🙀 Surprise!

🙌 WHAT STUDENTS WANT

This is why I put many hours into designing the Course Workbook.

It is important for everyone to document & work on improving a skill, e.g.

Write down 3 things that happened this week & use the FUEL framework to turn them into stories #buildinpublic style
Love the live tweet from the #BuildinPublic Workshop 😍

@michwirantono Thoroughly enjoyed the AMA tonight! I'm driving back to SF from LA this weekend. Let's get coffee in SF :)

@MeetKevon for being the excellent organizer & moderator 💯
If you've read a piece of long-form content and think it is awesome, please tell the writer: YOU'RE AMAZING! 🙌

It is very very hard to write so much 😆😆 Currently at ~7k words for Showing Up Right!

#BuildinPublic helps me stand by my opinion. Here's why:

🌳 You'll hear tons of public feedback when you share it out loud
🌳 Some are good, some are soso
🌳 You then need to train yourself to take it or scrap it
🌳 Over time, you know yourself better
Just had my first 2 live feedback calls on my table of contents and I'm already blown away by how much I've learned!

Thank you @AlessandraEsse and @_amdmh for your time and honest opinion 💪💪

Loving #writeinpublic #buildinpublic 😋
I'm creating a new book/course called Showing Up Right!

5 days in, I've drafted the table of contents with descriptive language 🌿

Going to share it on Mon with my beta readers to get feedback 💪

@Ace_Gucela Initial days I use #BuildinPublic a lot because it is what my content is about.

These days not so much because I don't think it helps much to get exposure. I see hashtags as part of a community kinda thing.
Here we go. The master of #buildinpublic is writing a Building in Public book 🔥🔥🔥

I'm very excited!
I'm writing a book about Building in Public. I'll write it… in public!

It will be an actionable and pragmatic book about building a business by sharing your journey. The journey of the book will happen here on Twitter.

Here is what's in it for you:🧵👇

I don't have everything figured out & that's exactly why I'll #buildinpublic to involve whoever is interested.

I want to use text/video/actionable worksheet to share with you.

And I'd love to hear your questions, answer them, expand on concepts, let beta readers review etc.
@kvenkat24 @arvidkahl @thisiskp_ This is awesome ☘️☘️☘️ using WhatsApp status to #buildinpublic 😱
If you cannot think of what to share for #BuildInPublic, then stop thinking, and start building. Then share your thought process in building.

After all, it is "Building in Public", not "Thinking in Public".
