This bug was introduced 2h ago when my new version of @BetterWorkout was approved 🐛

I noticed this bug 55min ago and tweeted it 🐦

Then I fixed it and submitted a new version for review 🔬

Now 55min later it’s reviewed & released 🚀

How fast was that :D?!

Don’t be lazy like me and just use “AppIcon” in your app for your UIImage if you’re trying to display your app icon somewhere 🫣

It works in simulator and on device when running through Xcode. But once released..

it won’t be there - whoops 😅

One of the small things i’m proud of is the file size of my app ✌🏻😊

If you have images in your app I recommend you do 2 things:

1. Checkout optimizilla.com 🔥

2. Resize your image to maximum the screen width/height of the biggest device you support 🌆

If you use SF Symbols. Make sure to double check the availability of the icon for the "Minimum Deployment" of your project ☝🏻

All my iOS 15 users had an empty space where I thought they'd see a dumbbell - whoops 😅

Today concludes 2 out of 4 weeks for @BetterWorkout to make it a successful project 🚀

I shipped 2 features and spent some time posting about the app (marketing?) ✨

Right now I have 2 subscription in trial period - let‘s hope they become paying customers 🤞🏻

Redesigning the "Workout Complete!" screen and also crafting a share-screen 👨🏻‍🎨

The hope is to enable users to share their proud accomplishments and with that implicitly the word about @BetterWorkout 🤞🏻😊

The app now supports workout pictures based on your gender. Subtle but should make the app feel more relatable! 🙂

Shipped 3 updates this month and preparing the 4th one right now. It's been a mix of bug fixes and features ✨

I really start feeling like I should prioritize to add a "share" feature to allow for organic word of mouth 🚀

MVP (Project)
- That one core feature
- Premium feature (at least one)
- Analytics/Tracking
- Sharing content (Social Media)
