My goal is to show people that you can be in tech and stay in shape at the same time. You don’t have to choose one. There’s always enough time, just make time. It’s a choice. 📈
It’s the last day of vacation. It’s been hard to stay disciplined this week which was expected. I’ve made sure I practiced a little everyday so I don’t lose it. Excited to get back and go hard on JavaScript.
This is the first day of vacation. I brought my computer because I couldn’t miss a week of learning code. I would’ve lost progress. My project is basically a code-a-long and I’m having fun with it.
I started reading this book called “Show Your Work” and I highly recommend it to anyone learning a new skill. It’s about the benefits of sharing what you learn. 🚀
When learning code, make the most out of each day. Don’t just do your coding session and be done for the day. Listen to coding podcasts, watch YouTube, write about what you learned. There’s always more to do!
If you’ve thought about learning how to code but you keep putting it off for whatever reason, start right now. Learn to code with me. I’m only 18 days into my learning so you won’t be far behind me. Come on let’s change our lives together. 🤝
Oftentimes, a beginner can teach other beginners much better than an expert. C.S. Lewis calls this the “Curse Of Knowledge.” When you become such an expert in something, you forget what it’s like to be a beginner. #Buildinpublic #LearnToCode
While learn CSS, I had a hard time remembering the difference between padding and margins. I would get them mixed up all the time until i could visualize it. If you were moving, you'd want padding inside your boxes to keep your stuff safe! ⚡
