I've been trying to reverse-engineer this batshit-crazy API that the gmail web app uses so that I can build a chrome extension #buildinpublic
haha up until i discovered #MicroSaaS, #buildinpublic, and #nocode my process was:

1. dream up something big and complicated
2. build half of it
3. get bored
4. repeat
Building a complex product as an indie developer.

My current approach:
1. Remove features
2. Remove more features
3. Rethink the problem I'm trying to solve
4. Rescope to the bare minimum number of features
5. Split up work into mini projects

#buildinpublic
I was expecting to have more updates for #buildinpublic then I found that that getting users is a bigger bottleneck to growth than building features 🀯 so I've been focusing on marketing. I guess that means I'm on the right track?
@adrian_horning_ Use the hashtag #BuildInPublic. There's a really supportive community with similar goals
I've worked as a dev at a few startups but I couldn't get my personal side projects off the ground until a friend told about #microsaas so I'm going to build a few of them and share my progress here #buildinpublic
Quick demo of what I've been working on so far...
Please add your stuff to this list πŸš€ #buildinpublic
What you are building/creating?

Anything is a fair game:

- writing blog
- product
- portfolio
- video course
- book
- startup
- open source alternative
