I think about starting a semi automated blog for pawdegree.net to get some SEO traction on it and new users. I'm not sure if its a good plan to write blog articles just with AI
Last week I decided to take a week off from every work and today I came back and my semi automation on the repositorys presents to me so many merge requests that I have to merge. In just a week there are like 20 MR on one repository
It's always really annoying if you want to update your dependencies and you realize you cant because some packages have some bugs in it that made things not working anymore.
New week new work. I took a few days off from work to recover a bit and now I have a new fresh start into work. Hopefully with new ideas that will come into my mind.
I made a few optimisations to the pedigree view. I added color for the gender in addition to the gender icon to get a faster overall look and added a link to the animal on every ancestor.
I added just a small little percentage beside the translation so that everyone can see if there is untranslated stuff. I think this will be helpful when I add more languages to the system and the percentages are low.
Sometimes you have to rewrite a simple basic thing, but after the refatoring you relize you have to adjust a LOT of tests because everything works different now.
I am as happy as a little kid seeing people using my app pawdegree.net. Got 4 new users today and I dont know where they came from but I am very happy.
A user of pawdegree.net ask for a little new feature that I already had in my mind. So I prioritize it and just deployed it. Hope the user ist happy with it 😊
I try to keep PawDegree user driven and prioritize their current needs. How do you handle it?
Yesterday I ask a friend of mine to test pawdegree.net and ask some of the breeder he knows to also tests it. Got finnaly my first user feedback. Thats a good starting point to get a better product.
