ClientWide Update! Easily create PDF estimates and invoices for your clients. Took me a while to get this in a good place, lots of tinkering. Used the invoice editor template in the fantastic Livewire Kit by @PovilasKorop to give me a headstart. #buildinpublic
Been a while since my last update on ClientWide. Jobs section complete. You can now assign Jobs to your clients and search through them with w/ filters. Viewing a job shows how much money has been received and you can also see any estimates and invoices too! #buildinpublic
Also, not shown on video - You can assign a default currency to each client. I've never had to invoice someone in anything other than £, so thought this might come in handy. Also going to drop name + surname to just "name". This way covers biz name + person #buildinpublic
Decided on the sections for ClientWide over the weekend, starting first with Clients. Managed to quickly smash out the CRUD parts using @LaravelLivewire. I'm using github.com/tabler/tabler for the layout. Next update will showcase Jobs! #buildinpublic
Now for the tech stack. I'll be using #php #laravel MySQL and hosted on @digitalocean as this is what i'm comfortable working with. Laravel lets me get something up and running in no time. A few screenshots in my next update! #buildinpublic
Update: Been sat on this name and domain for a while. Decided on "Client Wide", hopefully no issues with it. Choosing a name and then trying to get the .com is a nightmare! #buildinpublic
