Being part of the #buildinpublic community is a competitive advantage.

Use it. It’s free.
Added a simple text editor to writingseed.com so that people in the challenge can write on the site itself.

Once ready, you can copy or download the content. It also autosaves for you.

Started playing around with an idea I had yesterday.

A writing challenge.

It started as a challenge for myself, but decided to make it public so that everybody can join.

It'll be out in a couple of days.

Did the design of the page today. #buildinpublic
After a few crazy weeks, I'm back building my side project.

Not that I've ever stopped, but I did it mostly in stealth mode, as I had close to zero time to keep my #buildinpublic updates live on Twitter.

So, here's some UI progress I've made on Nulist rn.
I'm working on "List bundles" feature in nulist.

Bundles are collections of related lists. They could be public or private and are easily shareable via link.

#buildinpublic
Just shipped nulist's blog.

It's good foundation for my upcoming SEO endeavours (or should I say struggles...). πŸ˜…

There's one article live already! πŸŽ‰ #buildinpublic
Added sections to the dashboard.

It's been a lazy weekend, but still managed to make some progress 😊

Pricing modal.

Third (and final) iteration.

UI tip for today: When in doubt - add emojis. If it still doesn't work - make 'em big! πŸ˜† #buildinpublic
Did the integration with Gumroad.

I'll be using it as the payment provider for nulist.

The PRO plan will cost $12.

How did I came up with that number?

Just used a random generator between 5 and 15.

The first spin it was 7, the second - 12.

I liked $12 more πŸ˜‚ #buildinpublic
Quick #buildinpublic update before I go to the gym (I can't wait to get off the chair 😬)

1. Deployed nulist on @vercel
2. Set up analytics on @PlausibleHQ
3. Prepared the feedback/waitlist forms on @TallyForms
4. Polished onboarding
5. Added a progress bar.
Today's #buildinpublic update is tiny, but crucial.

- added a feedback form (tally, again)
- added "See quick tutorial?" link to the welcome dialog, which opens the "Quick help" modal.

Here's a sneak peak.
Yesterday I worked on the "Quick Help" component for Nulist.

Still a WIP, but here it is.

#buildinpublic
Spent 1 hr. today on the Nulist's frontend.

- Polished the list items UI
- Added some tasty animations
- Improved keyboard navigation

I wanted to start the supabase integration today, but postponed it until I manage to get 4-5 free hours to focus properly on it. #buildinpublic
I'm almost ready with the Nulist MVP.

Today:
- Polished the key message on the landing page
- Added some visuals to it
- Experimented with the message first-time users will see once they land the list editor in the MVP

Next:
- @supabase integration

I'd be happy to hear your thoughts on the new landing page of nulist.

What do you like?

What could be better?

Thank youu. 😊 πŸ™ #buildinpublic
So, the progress on nulist:

- I've added emoji picker in lists (thx @SamNewby_ )
- Implemented a list item type picker which activates on forward slash (much like in notion)
- Finally chose the right color palette for the app πŸ˜…

I own nuli.st now.

There's not much there, yet. Just a waitlist form and a couple of words about Nulist. #buildinpublic
Time for #buildinpublic update.

Nulist progress:
- new properties picker (list item + settings)
- delete + add bellow
- improved keyboard nav
- did some segment/category/value prop explorations

Next [dev]: adding properties to list items
Next [product]: refine key message
Short update on Nulist.

- Migrated to TS
- Better contrast, accessibility + keyboard interactions
- Started developing "list item properties" (not sure if I like the name, though)..

Thank you all for the support. Already got 30+ subs & lots of cool insights! 😍 #buildinpublic
