I used to swear by AWS for hosting... but after joining Twitter, enough indie hackers convinced me to use @vercel, and its been an absolute game changer for moving fast. Learning from others is just another reason to #BuildInPublic
Sad news: today I decided to shut down YOLO for Charity as it appeared many ppl were attempting to commit credit card fraud using it (luckily Stripe blocked them all). It had a good run 🌕 #BuildInPublic
Starting some new #BuildInPublic projects with the @divjoy + #nextjs stack… goal is build stuff I will personally use going forward, and if others want to use, they’re welcome too. It’s possible some of the ideas will be ridiculous 🤪
YOLO for Charity was definitely the most polarizing idea I've worked on: a select few loved the concept (and donated right away), some found it funny, and many thought it literally made no sense. Regardless, I learned a lot along the way #buildinpublic

Here's the frontend. Not pretty... but that's fine because 0 -> 1 is my main goal of #ExploreInPublic. When I eventually have a new idea and shift to #BuildInPublic, the hard parts will be done and making something that looks pretty will be a piece of 🍰
