I got the first reports about revenue from AdMob ads in Small Habits App. 1,01€ for the first day looks promising, but 0,02€ on the second day is just ridiculous. Interesting how it will look in a longer time perspective.
For some reason Twitter do not allow to upload more than 45 sec videos. I guess it was 1 min before. Anyways, here is yesterday’s microblog #iosdeveloper#buildinpublic#startuplife
Many developers moved to Mastodon, but many indie hackers and SAAS builders from the #buildinpublic community are still on Twitter. I'm feeling like back in school where you have to choose a team to stick with :(
Consulting work is on hold during holiday season, but I and coworker working on indie apps. He is not sleeping. Pair programming in progress :) #buildinpublic
I was asked a few times already if I'm selling my iOS apps, but I have no clue how price should be calculated. Most likely it is Annual Run Rate (ARR) multiplied by X So, what should be X for 20K ARR app portfolio? #buildinpublic
September was almost a flat line. I hope to sprint in sales in the second part of October 🤞 That bump in trials can help. Anyways ARR starting to look interesting. #buildinpublic
I released quite a big App update on the weekend. Active trials skyrocketed🚀📈 Users and I found two minor bugs, so I've been releasing fixes every second day, but so far, customers are happy. Ok, back to freelance now. I'm not on ramen profitability yet 🍜👨💻☕️ #buildinpublic
I woke up today to find that Apple approved the release of my Freediving app. It took weeks on nights and early mornings to rewrite outdated UI. Now it is a SiwftUI app. Customers do not care about the tech part, but the new UI will improve experience #buildinpublic
The hardest part of indie development is deciding on what project work after regular work hours. When you should switch from the "shotgun" method and stop creating new projects to focus on already existing ones? #indiedev#buildinpublic
How to start #buildinpublic : 1) Pick a channel where your audience is 2) Chose content type you are comfortable creating and be consistent 3) experiment with a different type of content to see what works for you and stay consistent over time
